IMD: Denmark second in EU competitiveness
15-05-2008

Economy:

Denmark ranks as the second most competitive country in the EU, surpassed only by an even smaller country, namely Luxembourg.

However, in the global competitiveness rankings Denmark has slipped one place to number six.

These are the findings in the newly published edition of the World Competitiveness Yearbook, published by the International Business School, IMD, in Lausanne.

The Confederation of Danish Industries has supplied the Danish statistics used in the yearbook, reports financial daily Børsen.
